Randomness without a remote service
The browser's cryptographic random generator supplies the randomness. Characters are sampled without modulo bias. Candidates are accepted only when every selected character group appears. The result is not derived from the time or a predictable sequence.
Settings that fit the destination
The default is 24 characters with lowercase, uppercase, numbers and symbols. Length can range from 12 to 128. The similar-character option excludes I, l, 1, O, 0 and o. A destination may prohibit some symbols or impose a different length; check its requirements.
This does not create an account, check breach databases or guarantee that an account cannot be compromised. Use a unique password per account and store it in a password manager. Avoid screenshots and chat messages containing passwords.
The result remains in page memory until reset or navigation. Copy creates an operating-system clipboard entry; download creates an unencrypted text file. Those copies remain outside this page's control. There is no advertising placement on this page. Reset removes the visible result and its download link.
Processing and sources
Inputs are processed on your device, without uploading or saving them to browser storage. Reset clears the result; downloaded files remain on your device. Website requests and permitted advertising or measurement are separate. See our privacy policy.
