foldmintCapitalization with clear rules
Uppercase and lowercase use English locale conversion. Title case capitalizes each ASCII word after lowercasing the input. Sentence case capitalizes the beginning and an ASCII letter after a full stop, question mark or exclamation mark followed by whitespace.
Rules are not editorial judgment
HELLO WORLD. THIS IS A TEST. becomes Hello world. This is a test. in sentence case. Acronyms, names and abbreviations can need correction. Title case does not follow a publication's style guide or keep short words such as “of” lowercase.
Whitespace and punctuation are retained. Some Unicode mappings change length because one character can become several. Arabic and other scripts without upper/lower case remain largely unchanged. The English title and sentence modes are not language-aware capitalization for every writing system.
Use up to 200,000 characters. The original stays in the input so you can compare it or try another mode. Check a text limit afterward with word counter.
