Using the toolkit

Foldmint offers browser-based utilities without a user account. Use content you own or have permission to process, and follow the laws that apply to you. Do not use the service to distribute harmful content, infringe rights, mislead people through QR destinations or interfere with the site.

Review your results

Keep original files. Conversion can change document formatting, image metadata or color appearance. Check generated documents and scan QR codes before relying on or distributing them. The tools are provided as available; we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or identical results on every browser.

Limits

Each tool displays its supported file types and size limits. PDF editable mode is text extraction, not OCR or a full recreation of the original layout. Page appearance mode produces images inside a Word document. JPG to PNG does not restore lost image quality or remove a background. QR codes contain static content and cannot be changed after generation.

PDF restructuring may change forms, bookmarks, attachments and signatures. Image compression does not guarantee a smaller file. Text transformations are deterministic helpers, not grammar checking, schema validation or encryption. Generated passwords must be stored securely and checked against the destination’s requirements.

External services

Linked documentation, advertisements and the destinations encoded in QR codes are operated separately. A generated QR code does not mean Foldmint endorses its destination. We do not provide a file-hosting service or guarantee that external links stay available.

Rights and contact

You retain your rights in input content. Use of Foldmint does not grant us ownership of it. Open-source components remain governed by their respective licenses. These terms do not exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. For questions or a problem, contact us.
