Files, text, passwords and QR content

PDF, image, text, password and QR operations run in your browser. Foldmint does not upload your selected files, their filenames, extracted document text pasted text, generated passwords or the contents you enter into a QR code. Working data can remain in tab memory until reset or closed. Downloaded results stay wherever you save them on your device.

This does not mean the website makes no network requests. Your browser downloads application assets, and advertising or analytics can make requests according to your region, configuration and choices.

Clipboard and downloaded copies

Copying a result writes it to your device clipboard. Downloading text, including a generated password, creates an unencrypted local file. Resetting this page does not erase clipboard history or downloaded files. Tool inputs and generated passwords are not saved in browser local storage.

Page requests and basic usage counts

Hosting infrastructure receives information necessary to serve pages, such as IP address, time, browser headers and requested URL. We also maintain daily aggregate counts by tool path and event type (such as a completed conversion). These event records do not include file bytes, filenames, document text, pasted text, generated passwords, QR payloads or a unique visitor identifier. They are operational counts, not a claim about unique users.

Optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics runs only when a measurement ID is configured and you permit analytics. Interaction events describe the tool and action, not the private input. You can reject analytics from Privacy choices in the footer. Your browser's Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal is also respected by our optional measurement code.

Advertising

Where enabled and permitted, Google AdSense may use cookies and device information to deliver and measure advertising and prevent fraud. A non-personalized ad request can still use cookies. EEA, UK, Switzerland and unknown-region ad requests remain blocked unless the configured certified consent platform obtains the required permissions. Other regions follow the applicable site controls. Google explains its use of partner-site information.

Use Privacy choices to manage advertising or choose Reject ads / Do not sell or share. Our code does not activate ads when a supported Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal is present. Browser choices apply to this subdomain and browser; they do not automatically apply on another device.

Contact and requests

Foldmint is operated as part of the INVNTY network. Contact us about access, correction, deletion or privacy concerns. Describe your request without attaching sensitive documents. If you email us, your email provider and our email service process that message to deliver and respond to it.

Changes

This policy describes the current local-processing tools. A future tool that uploads files or introduces a new provider requires an updated disclosure before use. See also cookies, advertising and terms.
